Marissa Blauch

Marissa is currently a senior at Garaway High School and also a local Vocational school. She plans to attend Muskingum University next year to pursue a degree in criminal justice. She was inspired to help with human trafficking prevention and bring awareness to her community after writing an essay on human trafficking awareness.

Marissa has worked to bring awareness to human trafficking in her community by talking to anyone who will listen, about the dangers and risks of human trafficking and has used her social media to help get the word out. After much research and consideration, Marissa determined that she could have a greater impact on helping to prevent human trafficking by joining the Student Advisory Council. Marissa works to educate herself, so that she can pass on the information she learns to help educate others. 

In her spare time, Marissa enjoys competitive cheerleading, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
