Cora MacMillan

Cora MacMillan

Cora MacMillan is currently a senior at Dominion High School and has been involved with Just Ask Prevention since her freshman year. She worked on the Student Advisory Council (SAC) as it was just starting out, transitioned to SAC President, and resided as SAC Vice President for the 2020-2021 school year.

From speaking at a school event filled with parents concerned about teen sex trafficking in Northern Virginia to review the Just Ask Prevention trafficking curriculum for Loudoun County’s Family Life Education classes, Cora has tried to look at the issue of human trafficking through dual lenses, from a professional perspective, as well as the lens of a teenage student.

Her biggest hope for the Student Advisory Council is that they are successful in spreading awareness of the dangers of trafficking in order to save the lives of teens just like themselves and at the same time inspire teens by letting them know that their voices matter.

She intends to study prelaw next year seeking to continue to impact the prevention and reduction of human trafficking in the future. When Cora is not entrenched in school work, you will find her pursuing her passions for drawing and painting.
